Host controls and Auto Next

The host controls when play starts and when the group moves on. In supported games, Auto Next can handle the answer reveal, leaderboard, and transition to the next question.

Start and finish a question

Review the game settings, then start the first question yourself. The question stays open until its timer ends or you select End Round.

The submission counter helps you see progress. It does not end a question automatically when it appears that everyone has answered.

After the reveal, use the actions in the host's bottom bar to move through the results. View Leaderboard shows the standings; Next Question moves on; Finish Game completes the final question.

Which games support Auto Next?

Auto Next is available for Unscramble, Missing Letter, Odd One Out, Trivia, Sub-Words, Crack the Code, and Two Truths and a Lie in online sessions, with individual or team scoring. Find the Mole also moves through the reveal and leaderboard on its own, but always pauses at the category picker, since choosing the next category is your call. Other games have their own flow and controls.

Auto Next is on by default. Use the host's bottom bar to turn it on or off. After a question ends, Neegma moves through the answer and available leaderboard, then plays a brief 3... 2... 1... countdown on your screen and every player's phone before the next question starts. The first question still needs you to start it.

A progress bar across the top shows the transition. A celebration may appear before the answer when a player's result triggers one.

Pause to discuss an answer

Moving the host's mouse during an Auto Next reveal pauses the transition. It resumes after the mouse is still again. This does not pause a question's active countdown.

For a longer explanation, turn Auto Next off and use the manual buttons when the group is ready. This is useful for classroom discussions, training questions, and any round where you want to explain why an answer is correct.

Move ahead sooner

The regular next-step button advances one screen at a time. Skip, when offered during a reveal, goes straight to the next question and starts it, skipping the remaining answer, leaderboard, and countdown time. Space or Enter can also trigger that reveal shortcut.

Use Skip only when the group is ready. It is not a way to pause or skip a question that is still accepting answers, and it is not offered on the final question.

Before your event

Run a short practice game with a second device so you can see the host and player views. Choose manual pacing for discussion; choose Auto Next for a continuous quiz where the answer reveals need less explanation.

At the end, leave time for players to save their results before starting another game.
