A Neeg Host session is one place to bring your group together and play a sequence of games. You control the games from the host screen; players join with a link or QR code and a name.
Open Create a session and enter an Event Title, such as “Friday team social” or “Sam's birthday”.
If you want a prepared running order, you can also start from a session template.
Share the player join link from the lobby or display its QR code. Keep your host link for yourself.
Players open the link, enter their name, and join. They do not need a Neegma account. For an online session, each player should join on their own phone, tablet, or computer, including players competing in teams.
For an in-person event, put the QR code on the room's screen. For a remote event, paste the join link into the meeting chat and share the host window. See screen sharing and TV casting.
Use the lobby's player and team controls to choose individual play or set up 2 to 5 teams. Players can choose their team; you can also manage the teams from the host screen.
Check that the roster and assignments look right before starting. Some games need a particular group size or individual mode. Teams vs individual play explains the differences.
Select Let's Play, choose a game, and review its settings. Depending on the game, these may include rounds, a timer, question sets, or answer options. Start when the group is ready.
Custom question sets you saved in the Playground appear as their own cards in the game picker. A session started from a template follows its prepared lineup.
Finish a game to see its results, then replay or choose the next game. Give players a moment to save their results before moving on.
The Free plan includes 10 players, 5 sessions per calendar month, and 90 minutes per session, with no separate limit on games within that time. Guest-host trials are limited to one game.
Your lobby shows the capacity available to the session, including any applied player boost. Buying a template grants a boost you can apply separately; owning the template does not automatically increase capacity. Check pricing, the Party Plan guide, or the Pro guide if you need more room or host regularly.
Yes. Keep the player link available. What a late arrival can do depends on the game and its current phase: they may join an open question, need to choose a team, or wait for the next round or game. See joining and reconnecting if their screen does not catch up.
